Our smoke school program has undergone a Federal audit and is approved in Illinois. You will be certified to conduct EPA Method 9 Observations after successful completion of our smoke school. We return to each public Illinois smoke school location every 6 months to ensure your certification does not expire.
First-time attendees: we strongly recommend reviewing our visible emission observation lecture CD before the Illinois public smoke school. Information about our lecture CD can be found here. Additionally, it is recommended that you attend our First Time Opacity Observer Orientation which starts at 7:30 A.M. for every Illinois public smoke school event.
