Aeromet's smoke school program has undergone a Federal audit and meets or exceeds all Federal and Oklahoma State DEQ requirements. You will be certified to conduct EPA Method 9 Observations after successful completion of any of our Oklahoma public smoke schools. We return to each public location every 6 months to ensure your certification does not expire.
First time attendees: It is strongly recommend that you review the visible emission observation (VEO) lecture CD before attending an Oklahoma public smoke school. Information about our lecture CD can be found here. Additionally, it is recommended that you attend our First Time Opacity Observer Orientation which starts at 7:30 A.M. at each Aeromet public smoke school event.
