Below is a list of public smoke schools Aeromet offers in Florida. You may register for any public smoke school.
Our smoke school program has undergone a Federal audit, meets all FDEP smoke school requirements and is valid in Florida. You will be certified to conduct EPA Method 9 Observations after successful completion of any one of our public smoke schools in Florida. AeroMet returns to each public Florida smoke school location every 6 months to ensure your certification does not expire.
Per FDEP requirements, you must review the lecture content at least once every three years. Reviewing our lecture CD has been approved to meet this requirement. First-time smoke school attendees: we strongly recommend reviewing our visible emission observation lecture CD before the public smoke school. Information about our lecture CD can be found here. Additionally, it is recommended that you attend our First Time Opacity Observer Orientation which starts at 7:30 A.M. each morning of our Florida public smoke school events.
