Aeromet's smoke school program has undergone a Federal audit and is approved in Kentucky. You will be certified to conduct EPA Method 9 Observations after successful completion of our smoke school. We return to each Kentucky smoke school location every 6 months to ensure your certification does not expire.
First-time smoke school attendees: we strongly recommend reviewing our visible emission observation lecture CD before the public smoke school. Information about our lecture CD can be found here. Additionally, it is recommended that you attend our First Time Opacity Observer Orientation which starts at 7:30 A.M. for each public smoke school in Kentucky.
If you are interested in learning more about a private smoke school at your facility in Kentucky, please click here or call Gabe Keilholz at 573-636-6393 for a no-obligation proposal. Private EPA Method 9 Certification courses are available throughout Kentucky and can offer significant cost-savings over public smoke schools depending on the number of attendees you have.
