Springfield, MO - Smoke School Schedule

For first-time smoke school attendees; we recommend viewing our EPA Method 9 lecture CD before the Springfield public smoke school. Information about our lecture CD can be found here. Additionally, it is recommended that you attend our First Time Opacity Observer Orientation which starts at 7:30 A.M. at each Springfield public smoke school.  Orientation is free with a paid field registration.

Aeromet's smoke school program is Federally audited and meets Missouri state requirements.  You will be certified to conduct EPA Method 9 observations after successful completion of our smoke school program.

Orientation: 07:30am Field Start: 08:30am (Please Arrive by 8:15) Site: Lake Springfield Boathouse Address: 5324 South Kissick Ave City: Springfield State: MO Location: Click to view a detailed Map with Generator Location Notes: NEW LOCATION. From Springfield going south on Hwy 65 take the Evans Road exit. Turn RIGHT. Follow Evans Road west and it will turn into Kissick Ave. Go past the power plant and over the Lake Springfield bridge. On top of the hill turn right to enter Lake Sprinfield Park. Follow park road to the end location will be at the boathouse.
