Aeromet's smoke school program has undergone a Federal audit and meets or exceeds all Federal and North Carolina requirements. You will be certified to conduct valid EPA Method 9 Observations after successful completion of any of our smoke schools in North Carolina. We return to each public location every 6 months to ensure your certification does not expire.
If you are a first-time smoke school attendee, we recommend you review the visible emission observation lecture CD before attending a North Carolina public smoke school. Information about our lecture CD can be found here. Additionally, it is recommended that you attend our First Time Opacity Observer Orientation which starts at 7:30 A.M. at each Aeromet public smoke school event.
If you are interested in learning more about a private smoke school at your facility in North Carolina, please click here or call Gabe Keilholz at 573-636-6393 for a no-obligation proposal. Private EPA Method 9 Certification courses are available throughout North Carolina and can offer significant cost-savings over public smoke schools depending on the number of attendees you have.
