Aeromet's innovative smoke school program has successfully undergone a Federal audit and is approved in Virginia. Upon completion, you will be certified to conduct EPA Method 9 Observations. We return to each public location every 6 months to ensure your certification does not expire.
First time smoke school attendees: we strongly recommend reviewing our visible emission observation (VEO) lecture CD before attending a Virginia public smoke school. Information about our lecture CD can be found here. Additionally, it is recommended that you attend our First Time Opacity Observer Orientation which starts at 7:30 A.M. at each Aeromet public smoke school.
