Newark, NJ Smoke School Information
AeroMet’s Newark, NJ smoke school meets Federal (EPA) and New Jersey state smoke school requirements. Upon completion, you will be certified to conduct EPA Method 9 (visible emissions) observations.
Lecture Requirement: You should complete AeroMet’s online lecture program before attending the field certification event. Detailed information about the lecture can be found here.

Students must bring their own pens and clipboards.
Aeromet personnel will perform all sign-in operations.
Students will be provided an area large enough to maintain proper distancing.
Test sheets will not be returned to students.
Certificates will be sent via email.

The school will run in most weather conditions - dress appropriately.
School duration will depend on how quickly you pass the test.
You must be present by the start of the first run.
